hi there, and thanks for taking your time to check out my creation :D
it is my version of the "attack on the weathertop". why didn't i just cal it that way? well, after i built this, i found out that LEGO already made an official set of the attack on the weathertop, so i had to change the name...
the most important part of the creation is the ringwraith on his haunted horse. in don't own any of the official LOTR sets, so i had to improvise with the minifigs... although i have the parts to make the official ringwraith, this works better. i really like how the rinwraith tilts his head, i used a bionicle ball joint to do it. frodo is scared and is hiding under the cliff, while aragorn is on his way to save him!
the vignette itself has 3 levels: at the top, where the ruins and the tiled floor are, the rocks, and all the way at the bottom, where the ringwraith, frodo and the campfire are situated.
i started with an idea for the legs of the horse, and started building the ruines, and the vig kept grewing... i was a little short with the rock pieces, i had to improvise... but after all, that's the spirit of LEGO :D
the rest of my creation speaks for itself, i think...
i based my creation entirely on the book, exept for one part: in the book, frodo is told to hold a stick, but the small sword works perfectly in this creation ;D
again, thanks for watching!
ps: if there are any spelling mistakes, i apologise... my English isn't that good yet ;D
